A person who is registered under the Rules of Racing must not BLANK bet on a horse which is under the care or control of the trainer for whom they are employed, nor can they instruct another person to do so, or receive any proceeds from such a bet.
An Amateur Rider must not BLANK bet on a horse in a race which they are riding in
A Trainer must not BLANK bet on a horse that is under his care or control, or instruct another person to do so, or receive proceeds from such a bet
A Jockey Agent cannotBLANK bet on a horse that is ridden by a rider for whom they act, nor can they instruct another to do so, or receive proceeds from such a bet
A person providing a service to a person bound by the Rules (e.g. Owner, Trainer, Jockey) is not allowed to BLANK bet on a horse that is owned, trained or ridden by that ‘bound’ person, nor can they instruct anyone to do so, or receive any proceeds from such a bet
A Valet must not BLANK bet on a horse at any meeting which they attend as a valet, nor can they instruct another person to place such a bet, or receive proceeds from such a bet
An owner (including syndicate members) must not BLANK bet on a horse that he owns, nor can he instruct another person to do so, or receive any proceeds from such a bet
A Professional Jockey must notBLANK bet on a horse in any race
The BHA can charge BLANK, whether bound by the rules or not, if they are found to be involved in betting corruption
